Bruno is all profile and beak. A deep cobalt bird turns to the side, one pale blue eye watching steadily, feathers spiking up off the top of his head, and an enormous golden-yellow beak hooking down and around into a fine point. Two striped legs step in at the bottom corner, almost as an afterthought.

Painted by hand in acrylic against a brushed graphite-gray ground, Bruno is more serious than the rest of the flock — there’s something almost noble in that stance. The muted background lets the blue and gold hit hard without any competition.

At 16 × 20 he’s a genuine statement piece: strong enough to hang alone over a sofa, a console, or a bed, and a great anchor if you want to build a gallery wall around him with the smaller birds. Anyone who likes art with a bit of gravity will love this one.
