On a Limb is the showstopper of the bird family. A tall, rust-red bird balances on a slim branch, its long yellow beak tucked to one side, a curly flourish of a tail behind it, and one big, calm blue eye taking you in. Behind it, a soft sky-blue wash keeps everything light.

Painted by hand in acrylic, this one has folk-art bones and a lot of movement — from the striped legs to the swirling tail feathers. At 11×14 it has more presence than the 8×10 birds, so it makes a natural anchor for a grouping.

Hang it on its own as a statement, or make it the centerpiece of a gallery wall with the smaller birds around it. It’s a great fit for a nursery, a child’s room, a sunroom, or anywhere you want a little whimsy with some scale.
