Teal, magenta and white worked into each other until the whole surface looks like water over coral. Heavily textured — you’ll want to touch it. One of a kind, 9×12 original acrylic on stretched canvas.
This one has no lines and no shapes — just color moving into color. Teal and seafoam pool across the surface, magenta breaks through in patches, and thick white sits on top like foam. In places the paint has crackled and lifted into fine lacy patterns that happened on their own as it dried.
I built this with a palette knife rather than a brush, dragging and lifting layer after layer. That’s where the texture comes from — the surface is genuinely raised in places, and the light catches it differently depending on where you stand.
It belongs to the same family as Mermaid Ink and Mermaid Mix in the shop, and any two of them hung together make a set. On its own it’s a calm, watery piece for a bathroom, a bedroom, or a coastal-feeling room. If you like the ocean, this is your painting.
