This is the bird from On a Limb: big golden beak, sleepy eyes, striped legs and a curl on his head, perched on a branch against a soft blue sky. He’s one of my whimsical birds, the series I started because of my grandfather, and he appears on both sides of the mug so whichever hand you use, he’s looking at you.
