There’s a lot happening here and that’s the point. Heavy black arcs sweep up from the bottom edge like branches, teal stems run between them, and everywhere you look there are small circles — deep red, black, lime green — each one with a bright orange dot at its center. The background flickers between crimson, olive and acid green.

I painted this one in a lot of passes, building the ground first and then adding shapes until it felt full. The black arcs went on thick and last, which pulls everything into some kind of order. Not a quiet painting, but not a chaotic one either — there’s a structure underneath all that color.

It works best where someone will actually stand near it — a hallway, a reading nook, beside a desk. Every time you look you’ll find a dot or a color you missed. If you like maximalist rooms, botanical prints, or anything with a bit of jungle to it, this fits.
