This is the painting I carried to the show, and the one people stood in front of.

Burgundy Bloom is a single deep red flower with a gold center, painted big enough that you can’t look past it, over swirls of yellow, teal and black. I wanted the color you get in the two minutes before the light goes: the red almost turning to wine, the gold still holding on.

This canvas print is printed on artist-grade canvas and stretched over a wooden frame, with the painting’s edges carried around the sides. It arrives ready to hang: no framing, no glass, no extra trip.

• Size: 16 × 20 inches, landscape (hangs wider than tall)
• Canvas: Artist-grade, matte finish, stretched over a 1.25 inch wooden frame, hanging hardware included
• Printed to order — arrives in about 7–10 business days

The original is a 16 × 20 acrylic on canvas, and it is still available: see the original Burgundy Bloom.
