What is the difference between an original painting and a print?
An original is the actual painting — acrylic on canvas, painted by my hands in my Pacific Northwest studio. Only one will ever exist. Prints and products are high-quality reproductions of my paintings, made to order, so you can bring the same color and energy home at an accessible price.
How do original paintings ship?
Carefully! Originals ship on their stretcher bars in a double-walled box with corner protection, fully insured, with tracking. They arrive ready to hang. The full details are on my Shipping & Returns page.
How do I care for an acrylic painting?
Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from high humidity (bathrooms are not a painting’s friend). Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth — no cleaning sprays or water. Treated kindly, an acrylic painting will stay vibrant for generations.
Some of your paintings mention black light reactive paint — what is that?
A few of my paintings include UV-reactive paint: in normal light you see the full painting, and under a black light certain elements glow. It is a piece of art with a hidden second life — these make especially fun pieces for bedrooms, media rooms, and anyone who loves a surprise.
Do you take commissions?
I love painting custom pieces. Visit the contact page and choose Commission Request — tell me about the colors, subject, and size you have in mind, and we will go from there.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards plus PayPal, through a secure checkout.
Can I buy a piece as a gift?
Absolutely — just enter the recipient’s address as the shipping address at checkout. No prices are included in the package. If you would like me to include a short handwritten gift note with an original painting, mention it via the contact form right after ordering.
The original I love is sold. Can I still get the image?
Often, yes — many of my paintings live on as fine art prints and products in the Prints & Products shop. If you do not see the one you want, ask — I may be able to add it.
Where else can I find your work?
I share new paintings and works in progress on Facebook, and my designs are also on Redbubble. The best way to never miss a new painting is the newsletter signup right here on the site.
